A quick post after being MIA again. Another take on the old backyard eucalyptus. We planted them as seedlings along our back fence 30 years ago, having no idea of the drawbacks. At least they’re far enough away not to take out part of the house when they drop limbs. Otherwise, we still enjoy the way they shimmer in the breeze and catch the last minutes of sunset.
I’m thinking I need to get back to doing some larger works, which means my posting on Daily Paintworks may suffer even more. I also have a couple of events lined up next year, so at some point will have to raise prices and/or set aside enough pieces for a decent showing.
